LUSH Review: Luxury Lush Pud (Christmas)

luxury lush pud

This bath ballistic didn’t live up to it’s ‘luxury’ title, but was something a little different for LUSH Australia’s Christmas in July

Rating: 3/5 Not great, unlikely to repurchase

Use: Bath ballistic. Fill a bath with warm water and drop the ballistic in

Effect: Quickly fizzes out to create beetroot coloured pink/purple water with a fine layer of short-lived silky foam. The coloured discs float to the surface and fizz a little slower

Smell: A very weak hint of lavender once in the bath, I couldn’t detect any ylang ylang though

Texture: The foam feels very silky in the water, leaves skin feeling soft and slightly moisturised

Frequency: I have tried this once, I won’t be buying it again

Vegan: Yes

Size: 200g, 7 cm wide, 7 cm tall

Lasts: Fizzes out within two minutes, you could get 1-3 baths from this if you so desire

Love: That it didn’t stain me or the tub beetroot pink

Hate: That it smelled very weakly and fizzed out quite quickly, leaving me in boring beetroot water

Condition: As you can see, mine arrived pretty smashed up

Price: AU $6.75

Storage: Keep in the plastic or paper bag it came in, if naked pop into a reusable baggie to stop rubbing and keep in a box by the tub

Top Tip: Try adding some bubbles so you don’t have to look at your seemingly beetroot tinted body, which is pretty weird
