LUSH Review: Rose Queen

rose queen

This ballistic had a lovely smell but went way overboard with the massive amounts of small icky petals

Rating: 1/5 Hated it, will never repurchase

Use: Bath ballistic. Fill a bath with warm water and drop the ballistic in

Effect: Fills your bath with heaps of torn up flowers, and not in a pretty, romantic way – more like an eww I need to shower now, kind of way.

Smell: Pretty floral scent of rose and geranium, best part of the entire bath

Texture: Leaves skin smooth and soft and covered in tiny clinging petals

Frequency: I will never buy this again, the petals were just too much

Vegan: Yes

Size: 90g, 5.5 cm x 5.5 cm

Lasts: Took about 4 minutes to fizz out. Fairly small and not much actual product when you take into account all the petals, so only enough for one bath

Love: The smell was actually really lovely

Hate: Didn’t colour the water, there were way too many petals for a relaxing bath, left a pink rim I had to scrub off as well as petals everywhere

Condition: Arrived in perfect condition

Price: AU $4.95, US $5.25, UK £2.75

Storage: Put it in the bin

Top Tip: If you thought Secret Garden didn’t have enough petals, try this. If you thought they were the perfect amount of petals or a little too much, stay way way away from this one.

  1. I can’t believe you didn’t like RQ, we’re all entitled to our own opinions…. But that’s one of my faves! 😅 Anywho, I like your blog. Have a good evening!
