LUSH Review: Ickle Baby Bot Bath Bomb

ickle baby bot

This bath bomb is designed to help get kids sleepy for bed, I thought it might work for adults too, but found you really need two robots for a decent sized bath

Rating: 3/5 Not great, unlikely to repurchase

Use: Bath bomb. Fill a bath with warm water and drop the robot in

Effect: Fizzes out to create very slightly tinted blue water with a very faint smell

Smell: Sandalwood and chamomile, it was very weak in an adult sized bath but was a lovely scent combination when I did get whiffs of it

Texture: Neutral, the water didn’t feel silky, skin was left neither hydrated or dry

Frequency: I won’t be using this for myself again, but may get for a child

Vegan: Yes

Size: 65g, 8.5 cm long, 5.5 cm wide from arm to arm, 2 cm tall

Lasts: Fizzed out in a minute, wasn’t enough for one adult bath, let alone more

Love: This was a nice scent when I got occasional whiffs of it, and was relaxing

Hate: It did very little to the water, fizzed very quickly, and was weak smelling

Condition: Arrived in great condition with just a little bumps around the edges

Price: AU $3.95, US $3.95, UK £1.95

Storage: Keep in the plastic or paper bag it came in, if naked pop into a reusable baggie to stop rubbing and keep in a box by the tub

Top Tip: If you want to enjoy this bath in an adult sized tub, try using two robots instead of one

  1. Meh, I like the idea, but is anyone really gonna shell out $4 per bath for their kid? I’m sure some people would, but not people of my financial standing! Not when you can get 70+ baths out of a big pump pack of Johnson’s Baby Bedtime Bath which works just as well for bubbles before bed.
