LUSH Review: Secret Garden (Mother’s Day)

the secret garden

This ballistic was so much better than I expected! It transformed the bath into an enchanted garden with amazing colour, smell and softness

Rating: 5/5 Loved it, will repurchase

Use: Bath ballistic. Fill a bath with warm water and drop the ballistic in

Effect: Turns the water a beautiful deep green with a fine layer of misty foam and floating marigold petals

Smell: The water smells incredible due to rose absolute and rosewood oil, and the scent of orange oil lingers on the skin

Texture: The water was silky, left skin feeling super soft, but neither drying or moisturising

Frequency: I’ve already used the two I bought this year and promptly bought myself another three! This is one I would like to always have on hand and so will be stocking up next year

Vegan: Yes

Size: 90g, 5 cm in diameter and 5.5 cm tall, same size as Butterball

Lasts: 1-2 baths, takes 10 minutes to fizz out

Love: The smell and the colour, absolutely enchanting

Hate: Could do without the petals, but for the smell and colour I can deal

Condition: One of these arrived in perfect condition. The other suffered some damage to the pink petal areas as you can see in the picture

Price: AU $5.50, US $5.45, UK £2.95

Storage: Keep in the plastic or paper bag it came in, if naked pop into a reusable baggie to stop rubbing and keep in a box by the tub

Top Tip: The petals easily go down the drain, but not all will make it there, so throw a jug of water around the tub after use to help guide them on their way
