LUSH Review: The Immaculate Eggception (Easter)

These Easter line ‘giant’ egg-shaped bath ballistics contain smaller chick and bunny ballistics inside. The amazement stops there for me.

Rating: 3/5 Not great, unlikely to repurchase

Use: Bath ballistic. Fill a bath with warm water and drop half or the whole ballistic in

Effect: Quickly dissolves to create yellow or pink tinted water, leaves skin smooth and soft

Smell: The eggs smell like burnt sugar, the bath smelled like lemon flavoured lollies

Texture: Left skin feeling soft and smooth but slightly drier in places

Frequency: I got one of each, unlikely to buy either again

Vegan: Yes

Size: 225g – 240g, 10 cm tall, 7.5 cm wide (inside ballistic: 6 cm tall, 4.5 cm wide)

Lasts: 1-3 baths, I tried using a third and ended up increasing to half because the colour and scent were too weak. The inner ballistic took about 2 minutes to fizz out, the outer shell pieces dissolved in seconds.

Love: I’m hoping I will love the pink colour, certainly didn’t love the yellow…

Hate: Another over-hyped limited edition product in my opinion

Condition: Arrived in perfect condition

Price: Pink: AU $11.95, US $12.95, UK £6.95
        Yellow: AU $11.95, US $12.95, UK £6.95

Storage: Keep in the plastic or paper bag it came in, I cracked mine open and divided the pieces into saved baggies

Top Tip: Give this a whiff in store before you commit to buying
