LUSH Review: Dragon’s Egg Bath Ballistic

dragons egg

This multi-layered ballistic was fun and smelt nice, but had way too much glitter for my liking

Rating: 3/5 Not great, unlikely to repurchase

Use: Bath ballistic. Fill a bath with warm water and drop the ballistic in

Effect: Fizzes, foams, spins and floats, to create golden water, swirling with glitter, popping candy and floating disks, and leaves you feeling silky and soft

Smell: Bergamot and jasmine, left a soft floral scent on the skin

Texture: Felt silky smooth in the bath and left skin feeling smooth

Frequency: Have tried this once, probably won’t get it again due to the glitter

Vegan: Yes

Size: 180g, 7c m tall, 7 cm diameter

Lasts: One bath (do NOT break this one up, it is designed with layers that fizz differently and make it a really interesting bath), Takes about 8 minutes to fizz out

Love: I liked that the design of this was really true to a ‘real’ dragon’s egg as it was spotted and had a golden ‘yolk’ center. It was a fun and nice smelling bath.

Hate: The popping candy and floating disks were annoying and this just had way too much glitter for my liking! I came out with a lot of gold stuck to me that actually made me feel a bit gross, as opposed to the subtle silver shimmer in Twilight and Avobath

Condition: Arrived in great condition, just a few bumps and rubbing

Price: AU $5.95, US $6.25, UK £3.25

Storage: Keep in the plastic or paper bag it came in, if naked pop into a reusable baggie to stop rubbing and keep in a box by the tub

Top Tip: A lot of glitter settles to the bottom, so throw a jug or two of water around the tub when you’re done
