LUSH Review: Twilight Bath Ballistic

This is the most fun bath bomb I have ever used. After a lovely display and a soak in the twinkly water I was left relaxed, soft and with a sprinkling of glitter.

Rating: 4/5 Liked it, may repurchase

Use:Bath ballistic. Fill a bath with warm water and drop the ballistic in

Effect: Fizzes, foams, spins and floats, to create purple/indigo water that twinkles with glitter and leaves you feeling silky and soft

Smell: Lavender and ylang ylang

Texture: Feels soft and smooth in the bath, leaves skin feeling silky soft afterwards

Frequency: Have tried it once, will probably buy more in future for special treats

Vegan: Yes

Size: 180g, 7 cm tall, 7 cm diameter

Lasts: One bath (do NOT break this one up, it is designed with layers that fizz differently and make it a really interesting bath), Takes 10+ minutes to fizz out

Love: How fun it was! The outer shell foamed up, then the inner ball spun around, then there were two halves that floated around and fizzed slowly. It was also quite a pretty bath, being purple and glittery

Hate: Watching the glitter settle on me was odd and I’m not huge on glitter, but it was ok

Condition: Arrived in great condition with just a few bumps to the star details

Price: AU $5.95, US $6.25, UK £3.25

Storage: Keep in the plastic or paper bag it came in, if naked pop into a reusable baggie to stop rubbing and keep in a box by the tub

Top Tip: The glitter settles to the bottom, so throw a jug of water around the tub when you’re done
