LUSH Review: Mask of Magnaminty

mask of magnaminty

A very minty mask that reduces redness and appearance of spots and helps prevent breakouts. I use this at least weekly as part of my skin routine

Rating: 6/5 Incredible product, will repurchase forever

Use: Face mask. On freshly cleansed skin spread a scoop around the face and jaw, avoiding the eyes and mouth. Leave for ten minutes then remove with a face cloth or in the shower before toning and moisturising

Effect: Deeply cleans the skin, reduces redness of spots, and exfoliates

Smell: Peppermint oil, a very strong minty smell that I found overwhelming on first use but quickly came to love

Texture: A grainy paste, spreads very easily

Frequency: Usually once a week, also I use a little as a spot treatment whenever needed

Vegan: No, contains honey

Size: 125g, 5 cm tall, 7 cm top diameter, 5.5 cm bottom diameter

Lasts: 3 month expiry. Lasts 10-15 masks depending on how much surface area you’re covering

Love: Reduces redness of spots, spreads easily, good value, exfoliates

Hate: Contains Methylparaban

Condition: Bought in store

Price: 125g: AU $16.95, US $12.95, UK £5.25 (I recommend this size unless using more than weekly)
          315g: US $24.95, UK £9.25

Storage: Self contained

Top Tip: When removing, rub your fingers in circles to exfoliate with the ground beans in the mask
